Wear Red on Go Red for Women Day, Feb 1

there was sleet, freezing rain, rain, and 32 degree temperatures! When I went to the airport to get DH, it took 2 hours due to accidents, flooding, downed trees, sand/salt trucks, and the general road conditions. HOwever, I was wearing a red turtleneck!

I wore a red t-shirt & leggings as I lounged around the house during the day. Then when it was time to go to work I put on my new red sweater which was wonderfully warm.

I am happy that I was able to do this & plan to do it again next year, too! It is such a simple way of making a statement.

I wore my red sweater. Then I took it off around noon and just put my red dress pin on my shirt. About 5 p.m. I put my red sweater back on. One person noticed my pin and asked about it.

An ice storm closed the schools and has made driving a little crazy. When I venture out to the store, though, I will proudly display my Redness.

Red shirt, black boots,
And I don’t know where I am goin’ to.
Black jeans, no tie,
I don’t need a reason why.
They come runnin’ just as fast as they can

I had a red shirt I was going to wear, but there’s a hole in the elbow. :(

The only Red I own is my Gloucester Rugby Jersey so as I peruse the aisles of the International Gift Show In New York I am sure I will stand out – and perhaps get a few comments.
