try to do something productive each day

Wow i really need to start making something out of ever day. At least on thing shouldn’t be too hard so i suppose i will start tomorrow with sorting out my uni course work. hopefully.

Set 6 month, 1 year & 5 year financial goals

Today, I go in for my first volunteer position in years at the ARC. I’m pretty much going to be at the desk greeting donors as they come in and aiding them in getting their replenishment snacks once they’ve finished.

I urge you to go and donate. PLEASE. Blood, Platelets, Plasma, and other blood products are highly needed. The more people donate, the more help people who are desperate for these things will have in recovering from injuries, illnesses, etc.

A friend gave me a laptop with a wireless card and, given that I use it mainly to write and (now that my speakers have blown) listen to music, I felt bad about it draining so much power (I keep it plugged in normally) without doing much else.

So, I figured, I might as well install BOINC on it and see whether it will take to the application as it takes to my desktop. Thankfully, it did and I now have two computers crunching data in the good fight for scientific advancement.

Given that I’m getting at least one more computer in the near future, that’ll be three. BOINC projects gonna luv me. Uh huh.

Days after I moved my site. I’ve moved back. Gr. Ah well, at least I did something.

Now, I’m knitting stuff for the upcoming Winter in the Southern Hemisphere (my friends) and the distance Winter in the Northern Hemisphere (my friends and I). And an Afghan for the couch downstairs. Gotta have one of those.

Finally, after several procrastinations, I moved my pitiful website to the new host.

I usually jump hosts when allegedly “ad free” sites start sneaking in adverts.

Now to knit!

Everyday, I knit a little in the hopes of gaining skills to make my own stuff, free stuff for others, and stuff to (hopefully) sell for profit.

Today is dedicated to the knitting of a scarf and cleaning the house out. It’s a free day. I might as well make the most of it.

I no longer need this as a seperate goal or reminder. If your goals are in line with who you are and you live in the present and deliberately with purpose, then you’ll have enough passion to follow through and get closer to your goals each day. That’s what I found.

Today, I fixed a serious flaw in my schedule right in time. I also powered through more of Bookback Mountain downstairs, cooked dinner, cleaned up, cleaned a chair I needed, and did the sillybootydanceofjoy to Dania’s song El Hilwa Di.

Tomorrow, I’m going grocery shopping, to get paperwork filled out for college, to take said paperwork and a book I don’t need anymore back to college, doing the sillybootydanceofjoy to Dania, and hopefully will come home to a nice restful evening.
