expand my cooking skillz beyond "mac n' cheese"

I think…

I mixed up some eggs, milk, salt, pepper, cheese, and baked it in a pan in the oven. This is really not as hard as I thought it might be.

I’m not trying to be the freakin Emeril dude… I’m just getting tired of Mr. P’s pizza & boxes of macaroni. I’m sure Mr. Abbeynormal is also tired of these things.

But I added a can of Italian diced tomatoes to the mac n cheese. It’s my new favorite “recipe”

URG. I hate cookbooks cause I never have all those ingredients that they list. I need a cookbook that has recipes using COMMON household things… like salt and milk or something.
