I bought new lingerie and now I feel sexy and happy with my body!
How I did it: On July 27, 2007, I weighed myself and saw 196 pounds on the scale, so starting out with my old Army PT routine and transitioning to CrossFit on September 18, 2007, was the answer to getting rid of a number of years of accumulated weight.
By New Year's Eve, I'd lost 46 pounds and stood on the scale to see 150 looking up at me. Doing the CrossFit workout of the day with my own equipment, walking 1.5 miles each way to the train, and trimming my calories back to my BMR was exactly what I needed to do.
Today, I weigh 149 and tend to waver between 147 and 151. The weight is gone, I'm still doing the CrossFit workouts every day, and I'm stronger and more fit than I've been in years, even when I was riding 250 miles a week on my bicycle.
I'm also 14 points away from maxing the APFT for the first time since 1990. All it takes is some discipline, a big bottle of water, and the belief that you're much younger than your actual chronological age.
It also helps if you keep track of your progress.

I’m so unhappy with my body right now. Me and a friend made a pact to stay “hot and healthy” all throughout high school and never gain weight and let ourselves go like so many girls. To start I am gonna start excercising and make a scedule to follow.
But I’m not going to ask everyone to take a vote. (Sorry, folks!) Mine’s the one that counts, anyway.
: )

Have lost substantial weight over the years, and currently have just lost 25lb, now I’m very aware of the skin and stretch marks.

There were way too many things on my list regarding weight, this is related, but a better goal that of course requires maintaining a healthy weight anyway, and incorporates my other related goals like lose 20lb, drink more water, take vitamins, live wisely, and DON’t OBSESS ABOUT WEIGHT, oh and my extremely vague goal of “Be healthy”
Well, since coming back from uni for Christmas, everyone’s been noticing or commenting on the fact that I have lost weight. So living at uni has its advantages; simple, healthy foods with no real time or money to snack on the horrible stuff. I’ve noticed too, my clothes are starting to get a bit on the baggy side :D
i am working on getting more healthy and getting slimmer and I really find just saying “I want to look great naked ” is a very powerful visulisation phrase and really motivates me and I really am moving towards my goal
OK so I have been eating like a starving man lately plus doing nowhere near enough exercise so it was with some trepidation that I got on the scales this morning – amazed – 60.8kg
