I am taking the six hours my MBA program allows a student to take in the leveling courses (only have to take leveling courses if your undergrad degree was not in Business; mine was in Communication) that a student can take before they HAVE to take the GMAT and get accepted fully to the MBA program to take more classes. I have to take the GMAT by Summer 08, and I have to make a 450 on it. I could get accepted with a 400 because my undergrad GPA was 3.0, but I feel like I could make a 450 on it if I prepare well and really bone up on the mathematical part of it. Math of any kind terrifies me. I get anxiety when it comes to math. I can learn to do it, but it takes a lot of drilling to get it in my head. I haven’t had an algebra class in over 5 years, and I never used much practical algebra in my daily life. So I have to prepare to take the GMAT this semester.
