go sandboarding

sand-boarding in Peru last summer; one of my English students was setting up a sand-boarding business for tourists so we did a test run for him. We spent the day in the desert – it was really hot, really beautiful and really, really sandy. It’s actually a lot of work (we didn’t have one of those buggies); climbing those dunes is hard! But it’s also lots of fun – I fell down every time, but on my last try I somehow managed to stay upright all the way down. What a happy ending.
