Read Le Lion, La Sorcière Blanche et L'Armoire Magique

This morning’s MT language lesson was mainly on the use of ‘en’. When I finished and switched to reading I was delighted to find the first sentence read:

-Oui, j’en suis certaine, dit Lucy.

(Yes, I’m certain of it, said Lucy).

Precisely what I’d just learned! When I first picked up the book it seemed a struggle to finish the first page – now I’m understanding more and more from each paragraph without looking it up. I’m putting into practice what I’m learning through audio lessons and gathering new words into my vocabulary.

I wonder how long it will take to read a whole chapter without looking up any words at all?

I decided that this is by far a big enough challenge on it’s own to not be hidden under The Little Prince goal. My hieroglyph goal can sit in with ‘Learn Many Languages’ where it belongs for now. Especially as I now have a vague time line for those many languages.

With my new language program I should finish this within the year!
