Make a list of 43 characteristics I find desirable in a man.

I have been in some pretty crumy places and the one thing that makes the difference about how much fun I have is the people that I am with. Some people have an amazing ability to turn a boring place into a party zone. The guy doesn’t have to be ridiculously crazy all the time. He could be completely mellow as long as he knows how to have a good time. I would say that I really want a guy who can have fun in any situation.(As long as it isn’t a funeral or something morbid like that)

Passion is so attractive. When someone is passionate it draws me to them. It makes me interested in what they are passionate about simply because they are passionate. I will not ever even consider getting involved with someone unless they are more passionate about Jesus than me. I want to be able to follow my husbands lead in our lives spiritually. I want someone who is passionate about the things God has called him to do in his life. I want someone who is passionate about me being a part of God’s plans for him. I want someone who is passionate about spending the rest of their life with me. And obviously I want someone to passionately make love with me(inside of marriage of course)!(hahahaha)

I want a guy who absolutely adores me. I know I have my faults. I probably have more than most people, but I want a guy who looks beyond my faults and still adores me. I want a guy who loves me so much that he is willing to overcome any obstacle if it means being able to spend the rest of his life with me. Cheesy? Maybe, but I think it is important. Obviously I want to feel the same way about a guy some day but I think it is more important for him to feel this way before me. Why? Because the harder he works to win my heart the more I will love him. I am not going to throw myself at a guy just because I am lonely or would like to spend the rest of my life with him. He is going to have to work hard. Adoration is the best fuel for a long chase after the one you love.

It took me forever to adopt this goal. Now we can blog on it together as planned. I wonder which characteristic I’ll blog about first…

Last night me and Nicole were at IHop and somehow the conversation came up about what characteristics would attract us to someone of the opposite sex. I thought it would be fun to make it a goal to identify 43 attractive characteristics. About half of the list is things we both find desirable. The other half is yet to be identified. I am going to write an entry about each characteristic. Feedback is welcome. I think it will be fun to look back on later and it will be fun to figure out what I really find attractive.
