ride in a taxi

my first taxi was in Hong Kong.
exciting to me, at least. ;)

I love taxis, don’t you? They’re a really good place from which to observe and explore a city.

I was aprehensive about my first taxi ride. I was in chicago and wanted to go to a mall outside of the city. The taxi driver was wonderful. we chatted the entire ride he told me all about his family and I told him about my trip. he offered me advice on my trip and my life and stuck around until I was done shopping at no charge. It was amazing!!

It certainly was…an experience..haha

Pretty much an essential life skill if you live in the city or plan on visiting the city. Not terribly pleasant, though. Smelly and cramped, as a general rule. And expensive, what with gas prices being as they are.

It was fun, but expensive!
