Finish the Film I'm Working On

The film is done. After 2 1/2 years of blood, sweat and tears (okay, mostly tears, some sweat and no actual blood). Now I’m in the process of getting it into a festival, making DVD copies and thinking about something else! Wheeeee!

I’m still waiting for the final sound mix to be done. My computer is SO FULL right now I’m having a hard time making the temp file that my designer needs. I’m also in a show right now so I don’t have time to putz around with it. sigh We have deadlines in October so I’m hoping by then we’ll be good to go!

Well, it’s now the end of March and the film STILL ISN’T DONE. The only things remaining are sound/music elements which should be nipped in the bud very soon. I’m hoping to be able to make some duplicates by the end of spring and start hitting the festival circuit!

I have been producing, editing, acting, cooking for, crying over, sacrificing, increasing my debt for a film for just about 2 years now. Independent indeed. I’m frustrated and exhausted and NEED it to be a finished project.
