List the Things I did this week that took courage

but it’s not one I’m going to incorporate regularly so it’s time to take it off the list!

It took a lot of courage for me to go to tonight’s meeting.

This is something I’ve wanted to do for a long time, and more actively in the last 6 months.

Despite being outwardly confident and strong person I am also quite shy. Going into a meeting full of women I’d never met before was quite daunting. My new business associate mentioned the meeting on Monday, but that she wasn’t able to go and she recommended it.

Because I didn’t want to tell her when we next met that I didn’t go because I was too afraid… I went!!! I’ve scheduled going to these meetings 3 times in the last 3 months and each time I’ve chickened out!

Tonight I faced my fear and did it anyway…
and it was wonderful.. everyone was very friendly and introduced themselves, and made me feel very comfortable.

I really thoroughly enjoyed the meeting!! I feel very inspired and motivated now :-D I have been given a boost of energy and confidence to do what I know I can do!

I asked if I could reschedule a meeting when I was running late (I hate doing this) but I did it anyway!

I politely asked the woman in the queue behind me to please respect my personal space and stop banging into my bag every few seconds! :-D

I rang someone I had to tell what I perceived as negative news, that I wouldn’t be becoming a customer of theirs. I don’t like doing this, although I realise that out of respect I have a responsibility to communicate my intentions. i find this very difficult to do. The phone conversation went very well however, so I was very pleased with the outcome!

I rang to get info about something even though I didn’t know the person.
