I thought I would just let everyone know that I have lost 5 pounds this month so far…5 more left. I’m not sure if I can lost 5 pounds in 11 days but I’ll give it my best shot.

There isn’t much to say other then I did gain about 2 pounds in the past week because I had to go to a conference in Charlotte. I had to stay on a campus for 3 days so it was cafeteria during the day and fast food in the evenings. There was also a ton of sitting and listening to lectures so no exercise. But since this conference I have been to the gym 3 times this week and even did yoga one evening. My weight according to the scale at the gym was 241.8. I am going to the gym again tomorrow and hopefully there will be more of a weight loss.
My second month of exercising has put me down 2 more pounds so I have 8 more pounds to go and 16 days to do it in. Wish me luck!

I’ve started the Atkin’s Induction (no carbs/sugar for 2 weeks) and I’m dusting off the old Power 90 DVD’s. I figure that rather than concentrating on the huge amount of pounds I need to lose to reach my goal weight, I’ll concentrate on small intervals of weight loss. I figure as big as I am, 10 pounds a month should be no sweat.
