I dunno I want to do this for some reason. I think it will be an accomplishment for me because I never finsihed anything big like this before. I’m going to try this by the end of this year :].
thenewone Might be going parkouring this weekend
How I did it: In truth, I finished the puzzle in under a month, but I only worked on it on weekends and a few weekdays. My sister had gotten a 1000-piece Twilight puzzle at the end of June, and it was a picture of Edward Cullen (Robert Pattinson), and she really wanted it done. I always liked puzzles, so I helped her the first day make most of the border. She didn't really work on it a lot, only a few days when she was home (she lives at college, … Read how I did it…
HOMETOWN GLORY Scream loud. Louder.
How I did it: It took four of us two days. We worked on it whenever we were bored or were waiting for the others to wake up lol ;) We stayed up for quite a while one night trying to piece together the hard parts like the grass and the sky, but once those pieces were done it was a breeze! I completed the puzzle by myself. It was a Thomas Kinkade picture with a lot of detail. It took me quite a while to complete it. It looks so pretty!
HOMETOWN GLORY Scream loud. Louder.
It took two days with five sets of hands on and off.

i found a picture of it online! so there it is. it was actually pretty easy. because of all the words and such.
you could pretty much pick up a random piece laying around and find out where it should go.
so it took us..3 days. in the time that i could go over to his house. (so not nonstop)
we’re pretty much speedy fast. :P
so this is my newest lifelong goal! i realized this after attempting several puzzles in the last week. and the only one we got was a 300 piece one…lol. so for some reason i want to try 1000? yeah i dont get it either.
buttttt my boyfriend and i started one tonight! and it actually went amazingly well. we did the edges. and three big word things. it was incredible how well we work together. lol
and plus, after we did anything amazing, we got little rewards. :P
i’m looking forward to the long puzzle journey ahead of us. :)

I had spent much time doing puzzles when I was a kid… an uncle of mine gave me every time puzzles for presents.
I’ve been searching for a wintery town scene, with people shopping, ice skating, old oil lamps lining main street. I guess something you would see on a Christmas card or in a snow globe, but I can’t find it. Maybe to cross this goal off, I’ll have to settle for something else & continue to look for the elusive wintery puzzle for another time.
Complete with lots of trees and flowers that had me up late at night putting pieces together. All in all, I got this huge sense of accomplishment when it was done.
Chocolunatic is working on goal 8. & 36.
in 3 weeks. It was not so easy but it was so much fun =D. I worked on it for an hour or so on some days. At some days I will only pay the puzzle a visit during the TV commercials. There were a few days too when i have not worked on it. I think it took us (my mother, 3 brothers and me) a total of 3 days that were spread along the course of 3 weeks to finish the puzzle.
The best part of it was placing the last piece. It gave me the sense of achievement. It was so much fun and I am looking forward to do the next 1000 puzzle that i own. =D
