I could have used some sage advice on the 3rd. Today, I just want potatoes with sage-infused olive oil. Heavee, you’re a gentleman and a scoundrel and a steady, sweet presence here. I’ve loved watching you unfold over the time that I’ve been here. Here’s to many more joys and pleasures this year!

and how do I stop myself from cringing when I am late on birthday greetings, anyway?

I always feel so bad for being late…. it gets to annoy me… and self annoyance is… anyway… if you have any sage advice… I’m listening!

And eating cake, and blowing up balloons, and singing, and drinking, and basically having a damn good time…
