went to the neurologist today. i literally talked to him for like two minutes. no more headaches. no more tests. no more doctors.

about my head b/c i had to go to the neurologist today! thanks for caring! ^{i feel so warm & fuzzy inside!} lol.

anywho, the neurologist pretty much told me to wait it out. im not supposed to play basketball, which is fine because coach said he would make me sit the bench during games anyways, so practicing would pretty much be a waste of my time. but i am allowed to participate in gym class again (yay! i love gym!) so yeah…i have to check back with him in 6 weeks. but they did give me a CD that has a copy of my CAT scan on it. pretty nifty(: that’s what the pic is of, btw.

Having suffered a concussion as a teenager, I know, somewhat, what you must be going through. My daughter suffered a severe TBI 3 years ago and though she is mostly healed, it took a long time. Any kind of head injury can be tricky so caution is very important while recovering. Medical knowlege has come a long way from the 1970s as we didn’t have cat scans available everywhere and MRIs were unheard of then. I’m glad to hear that you are healing even though you might not be playing basketball for a bit.

And I say that as a gratitude for all the people who joined in this goal.

Because this is the way things ought to be. Suppoet and love, and friendship and caring for one another.

And Caiti, I continue to wish you well. Love and healing to you! :-)
