travel somewhere alone

I have just recently learned about the website couchsurfing.com (thanks to 43things and ravelry!), and I think this is a fantastic idea. It is really opening up a lot of options and this will be a great way to travel alone. I have filled in a profile and once I’ve saved up some travel money I will approach some people who live in the countries I want to go to. 3 years ago

is amazing!!! It was the best time of my life and I am not kidding! I travelled alone, but I was never alone. I met with so many people and saw so many places and experienced so many new things that it’s unbelivable. I will definitely do it again! 3 years ago

On sunday I’m travelling alone to Slovenia. Okay, it’s only a neighbouring country, but I have never been there before, I don’t speak the language, so it’s going to be exciting. But I won’t be alone there, I’ve already found couch through couchsurfing.com, one night in Ljubljana with a nice family (and a guinea pig) and 2 nights in Bled with a lovely girl, who is also living with her family. So I think it’s going to be wonderful, but I will tell it next week when I’m back. 3 years ago
