compliment strangers more often

well, doin’ this when it’s sincere is the best thing. seein’ the person’s face light up is great… i might’ve just made that person’s day.

on a regular basis the last few weeks. Some examples:

• at the chemist a lady who used to dye her hair decided to stop with that. Not because she couldn’t decide on a color but because she thought it’s was time to accept her grey hair.

• An older lady was riding her bike uphill and she thought she couldn’t make it. I cheered her on and after she accomplished her mission I complimented her.

• A girl who was picking out a new wardrobe. A totally different style but it suited her more then the old one.

• A waiter at a restaurant. He was so friendly and attentive.

People really react great to this. Smiles all around!

I mark this goal as completed but I’ll keep doing this. Just for fun. Smiles are priceless!

_As I went for my run (read: walk) this evening a woman in the neighborhood was arranging colorful Hanging tealight holders in her garden. I really loved them so I complimented her on her choice. The smile that appeared was priceless. _

I complimented a waitress on her hairstyle. It magically brought a bright smile on her face
