It’s been years since I’ve taken ballet but I enjoyed it so much. I recently bought some second hand pointe shoes just like the ones I used to have so as to feel inspired. It is difficult to find dance lessons for adults that are not in college or beginners classes.

I started ballet in primary school when I was about 6 years old, and did it for about 4 years. Due to my being a spineless child, I quit cos it wasn’t “cool”, to my mother’s disappointment. I then took it up again in my last year of my undergrad degree, but didn’t take it that seriously.
Now, I’m doing it again, at 26 years old, and am really enjoying it. I’m not gonna stop now, I’m just gonna go and hopefully I can get to pointe.
So the first gap was like 10 years I think, and the second, about 6. I really wish I had continued as a child, but I can still get to pointe level, I’m not that old, am I? :p
