meet Darren Hayes

I have a fan since the ol’ savage days. Only seen him on tour once, (the time machine tour at brighton), and I performed a couple of his songs at a friends kareoke b’day party, (Hold me and Strange relationship), last year. Would love to meet him, shake his hand and say ’’well done’’ and ’’thank you’’.

I live in the us, and have never been to ANY concert, much less one of his. I want to go to his concert as my first. I want to draw a picture of him (I am a highly talented artist) maybe write a song for him, make him a paper crane since he seems to love those, and put it on a little package and give it to him.

i think that i should meet him i have been to all of his english concerts and i am going to have truly madly deeply as my wedding song next year if only if he was there to sing it live while i danced with my partner

I lived in Sausalito for 3 months and he was up the street from my place. Mind you, I moved there with the intention of meeting him (and yeah, I wanted to seduce him even though everyone in the neighborhood told me he was Gay, and I refused to believe it) I got a job down at the leather shop next to the starbucks he used to get his coffee from, and see him walk to and fro everyday. The house I lived in was spooky and haunted, and the creep who was my landlord was always trying to get into my pants… but I was on a mission damnit! And yeah, I would say “hello” and “how is it going” everytime we passed by or he saw me hanging out on my front porch, so concidently at the same time he was passing by, but I never had the balls to ask him out for a date, or make any sort of flirtatious move on him. I was stupid to think it would have ‘just happen’ like fate. Not to be vain, but I consider myself attactive and thought we’d make really cute babies LOL I know, this was 3 or 4 years ago when I was just 20 years old and naieve as shit. Finally I gave up, moved back home yet still made weekly visits to Sausalito so hang out with the neighborhood people… (and to see if he was there too) – later on I found out he was gay and had married his ‘partner’ – needless to say I was pretty bummed out about it, but now all I can do is laugh about it. Silly me.

I was at the first Street Team Listening Party for the Tension and the Spark! Oh wow.. the experience was amaizing! Then he came in for q&a, boy it was sooo much fun…

I have been to two of his concerts, and I loved it both times. His voice, his words, his attitude all effects me when I hear me and see him.

I simply think it would be a great experience to meet him, tho I do fear I would either babble like an idiot or not be able to speak at all.

He seems like a wonderful person. I am so very happy he chooses to share his music with us.
