This goal seems reasonable. Leaving the city could be going 30 minutes away or another part of the state. I think I can manage that every month.
I will leave the country this year to go on a Cruise. I will make a plan to go out of the States every year.
I really want to keep this goal.

January – Stayed at home
February – Went on a road trip with my boyfriend to Hveragerði where we spent the night at a hotel
March – Went skiing with my family at Akureyri and went to a summerhouse with some friends near Bifröst
April – Went with my parents to Þingvellir where we worked at my parents’ summerhouse which is being renovated.
May – I’m going river rafting the last weekend in May which obviously will involve leaving the city :)

Trip to rainy Manchester today. I just love the city…any city…most cities…..this particular city!
Only one more month and I have to leave my country! Don’t think this will be possible! We’ll see.

Leaving my city once a month… Where could I go?
Easy places would be in Wisconsin. I’d love to visit Julie and SweetMK in Milwaukee.
I’d also love to visit Wren in Utah and Bluepark in Atlanta.
I want to see my old friend Dave in LA, and I think Karen is close by. No?
I would love to visit my old Israel trip roommate in Boston, and see Jane, too.
I have some college friends who live in San Francisco.
In June, there’s a western herbology training in the Black Hills of North Carolina that I can go to at a discounted rate, and it sounds like I’ll learn a lot of great things there. And it’s in the same place that the movie ‘28 Days’ with Sandra Bullock took place in.
I’ve already left the country this year, and it’s only just begun! So, that’s really amazing, especially considering I was grounded most of last year.
Anyway, just gathering ideas. I think it will be more likely I’ll be going close by, but I do have a ‘travel fund’ that I’m depositing my former car payment into.
