leave my city once a month, leave my country once a year

Well went round to manchester for thee day today, and reaaly enjoyed it. Ain’t been for ages so got abit lost, but found our bearings in thee end, good times XD

to take a day trip to Milwaukee this month to hang out with Julie and SweetMK. I think this will be great to visit them on their home turf. I’ve met Julie twice and SweetMK once in Chicago. I was in Milwaukee once but only during the night to see a concert.

I have not updated this list since last May but I travelled a whole lot this summer so this goal is for sure on track :) I’m planning on marking it as done at the end of the year (although I will definately keep on travelling every month after that as well)

• June – Went to a summerhouse in Munaðarnes and a rafting trip at Hvítá

• July – Went to a friends’ wedding out in the country, that is at Borðeyri

• August – Left my country (Iceland) and moved to Sweden so I guess the definition of “my city” is now Stockholm instead of Reykjavik

• September – Went on a boat cruise at the Stockholm Archipelago and had a PicNic in Vaxholm (a nice little island not far from the city)

I haven’t decided where to go in October and November so all suggestions are welcomed – that is as long as they fit into a Stockholm-student’s budget ;)

leave the country once a year; went to Switzerland. Really great, beautiful scenery, great fun and just generally a nice wee break.

Im off to London, i cant wait for a couple of days, gonna be a proper tourist and go sightsee everything

Went to the beach and round the coast was a really cool couple of days!

went up to Stirling for the day, very last minute but even though it wasnt for very long its still better than going out in glasgow, a change of senery is always refreshing no matter what you do.

went through to edinburgh for the festival, sow a comedy show and stayed overnight.

and it is somewhat hard to leave Chicagoland. There is so much to do here. But to explore an elsewhere place once a month would be adventuresome, to say the least!

so not really been doing this too much, work commitments etc anyway this month i went to Helensburgh although it was more just for a tennis match but we still got to see and smell the sea! and we won the match :D

And i got my flights booked for Switzerland next month so i am gonna be leaving the country which i totally wasnt expecting to this year so looking forward to that!
