A few weeks ago things were really looking down. I felt out of touch completely and didn’t know what I was doing anymore or why. Lately things have picked back up. I find myself registering much quicker with the material and am vastly using my comprehensive skills in daily life; on me, on people I observe, people I touch. The work that seemed insurmountable before has become little more than reflective affirmation of my cognizance with the theories and material. I am in a good place. We’ve started doing clinic. We practice on “clients” and it’s such phenomenal practice. Never the nervous type, I find performing my work to be one of the most satisfying things about the program so far. Four months is approaching much more quickly and much more welcome than it was only a few weeks ago. 2 months ago

Enrolled in Ridley Lowell Business and Technical Institute in September 2012. Prospective graduation date is 26 June 2013. As of the date of my joining 43 things I have completed approximately 455 hours of my 900 hour program. With just half a program left, I feel that I am nowhere close to getting my LMT. I feel hopeless, drained, pathetic and alone in this. June seems really far away this side of February. I am really overwhelmed. I feel as though nothing I know is right, that I have everything left to learn, that I will never pass my test because of what a joke of a student I am. This is how I started to think right before I stopped acting and changed career paths… 3 months ago
