Oy…this has gone sooooo far down hill! It’s easy to save when you’re making money and not spending it (like living at home over the summer), but when you have no income and you’re on your own (like being a student in the city), it’s impossible. I’m trying to save what I can, but it’s not easy.

Just about halfway! It’s easy to do this right now, since I’m working, but I’m concerned for when I get back to school. When I don’t have a paycheck coming in, I end up using those savings. I’d really like something to have as a long term back up, not as a “oh, I just spent $50 at Barnes and Noble, now I need groceries!” back up.

It seems like every foot step that i take foward, i take three back. My money situation sucks really bad. first it was car insurance($199.99) and paying my brother back($450.00 FOR A CELL PHONE BILL!) that ate away my cash. Then it was the speeding ticket ($204) and car insurance($199.99). Then Once I got the ticket paid off I got a moving violation citaion ($184) and now my car is screwed up. I busted the transmission pan after a tire went into a ditch. and then i drove the car. So i might have to get a new transmission. which is hella expesive.
Hmm… I did have $175 saved up in the bank but had to spend it on all this stupid crap. Once I get settled again Im gonna start over. Wish me luck
