It’s a bit terrifying to look straight down from THAT height. Dizzying. But worth it.
I noticed there were a bunch of kids stomping on the glass, seeing if they could make it break. Yeah… brilliant idea.
How I did it: I was hesitant for a moment, but seeing other people standing on the glass... well logic sets in.... I won't fall through either : ) I brought my sister with me, who will do anything. Her courage coupled with logic made it possible!
Lessons & tips: Don't think about it too hard or too much... just do it!
Resources: Bring a dare devil friend!

It was fun, but very expensive and long wait. You can barely get on the floor for all of the children crawling and laying on it.

This one truly terrifies me, but I’m going to make myself do it this summer! I hope someone will do it with me, since heights are probably my biggest fear.
Good on anyone who’s done this!
I did not realize I would enjoy this as much as I did!
It was not planned, which is maybe what made it so much fun.
I had arrived in Toronto, realized that my hotel was about 10 blocks from the tower and after dinner I and a couple of coworkers walked over to the tower and went up at about 10pm. The lights were beautiful, we watch them close the roof on the stadium below us, and the boats on the lake. oh, and of coarse first walked, then danced on the glass floor.
We went up to both levels, the highest was about 1433 feet.
By the way, I have had no problems walking the streets of Toronto late at night or early in the morning. The city is much cleaner and politer than I remember it.
I held Sean’s hand and took one step off the proper floor onto the glass floor of the CN tower. I was freaking out the entire time as I don’t really like heights too much, however it was so worth it. I felt so good after conquering this and was ready to take on the world, well I am always ready to do that, but this was so much fun!!!
I’ve done this twice- I should have taken a picture!! I have been up the CN Tower 3 times (the first time they didn’t have the glass floor).
The restaurant (360) at the top is worth it and you get a free trip to the top. For 20 canadian more, you get an excellent meal so you don’t feel as bad paying to ride an elevator.
I actually want to lie face-down on the glass. I have mild vertigo so imagine it would be very exciting!
Your best bet is just to walk straight onto the glass. Do NOT stop at the edge and look through the glass, because then you might decide that it’s not a good idea… ;)
Twice!
I’ve added a photo of my bandy legs on top of that floor above. Definately going up there just for the view. Amazing.
