I used to be a very devout believer, but when I DECONVERTED, a friend started questioning his own beliefs as well.
How to convert someone to atheism
How I did it: Someone followed me after I left my religion. He realized that if such a devout believer could lose faith, then maybe there wasn't as accurate as he thought.

I can’t really take credit for it. It’s the documentary The God Who Wasn’t There. It really makes some good points. I gave my friend a copy and, along with some pretty in-depth conversations, he ended up admitting the things he’d tried to avoid thinking about before and started calling himself an atheist. Now he’s becoming more liberal, political, and just generally a better thinker as well. I’m very proud of him, and a bit proud of myself as well.
