My DH and DD7yrs went to the market leaving me to sleep in, had a shower and shaved, when they came back sat in the grass altough it was overcast. Than my DD and I cooked dinner, that turned out perfectly, a stove top metloaf, with fresh spinach leaves. I am thankful for such a great day!!! 4 years ago

It has only taken me only a month to set up my first flylady rutine, the shining of the sink, and doing bits and pieces 15 minutes at a time, my life has already become more peaceful. I am a total brat, never having done these things myself, and paying someone else to push my clutter around while pretending to clean. Doing housework has become more fun, and my family is catching on, loving themselves too. It is amazing how clear directions are a blessing for the easily sidetracked perfectionist. I am feeling so great, with a lot of energy and feel creativity bursting, and since I started on my antidepression drugs and doing flylady´s babysteps, I think it was because I started shining my sink and doing house chores for 15 minutes. I used to excuse myself ´cuz I was writing, now every hour I get a message from flylady, without whining I do it and are ready and set for another hour computer time. Yes, the site is graet for making a home. I was a spoiled little brat, but have found through the shining of a sink a form of meditation. When I am triying to sell a property that needed only shining on the outside, it gave peace on the inside. It has turned a little of my adultitis into fun cleaning the house, with a lot of waterwork involved, music and dancing. It has even helped me with my skin problems. WWhen I love myself, I show them we can also love each other;) 5 years ago

This routine has really helped me in domestic chores and in my owon home bussiness practice, it sets a good example for my DD and keeps me presentable for DH. And it is making me more organized. 5 years ago

It has only been three weeks since I made this pourpose mine and I find that it has become relly the center of my life, to really show them. It is so hard being a wife and mother, but the rewards are big. I never tought of mysekf as a homemaker, but not having household help has first, focus better at work, and appreciate more the money I used to sepend in help… 5 years ago
