the only reason I did this was to just take pride in the fact that I could do things on my own (i.e learn by my own) All one needs to know is how to position your hands/fingers initially. (i.e index fingers on F and J (QWERTY)) After that I just started typing out meaning full stuff (not arbit tiresome similar words aimed at learning to deal with one particular key). hand movement will come by itself. and trust me result too is very quick! It took me 3-4 days (an hour each day) to type without looking.. over time speed built up.. easy to do.
