The day after my birthday I will be attending a Fiona Apple concert where Damien Rice is the opening act.

I have fingers crossed and knees kneeled that I will get to meet both of these talented artists!!!

I think this could happen, IF HE EVER COMES TO THE UNITED STATES, myabe I will have to pair backpacking in Europe with this…. it would be amazing

Once at a show in Detroit. Again, over a year later, in Paris at the benefit concert. I brought the picture my friend and I took with him in Detroit to the Paris show. He was wearing the same shirt as in the pic, only now it was quite faded. He laughed and ran around showing the picture to his crew who have been telling him to get rid of that damn shirt for ages. He was then gracious and humble enough to let my friend and I pose for a new picture in which we were each kissing him on the cheek! Sigh… He’s a completely wonderful man. Wait to meet him, even if security tries to tell you he’s already left.

cause he’s the most utter best, in my humble opinion. I loved his music from the very first notes.
