I am dating myself, but I saw him during the Purple Rain tour at the Orange Bowl in Miami, Fla.. It was awesome, BUT, even better than Prince was the performance of Sheila E. That woman can play the timbales like nobodies business.
Funny, cause a few years ago I was watching a show in honor of Tito Puente, renouned for his Timbales playing skills, and I was remembering Sheila E’s performance at Prince’s concert, when who shows up” Sheila E. It was awesome.

last night. as soon as he came on i almost cried! i was screaming and dancing and singing and it was amazing…the best gig ever…my main ambition in life is now done! i can be safe in the knowlege that i’ve been in the same room as him….

Oh. My. God. I might see Prince on Saturday! He’s having an aftershow tomorrow. $31.21. I’m not clear if it’s another smaller show or just a party. It’s 18+, so I feel like it would be a show, because a party would probably be 21+. Oh, gosh. I don’t know…it’d be a dream come true to see him, and especially at First Avenue. Hmmm…

Great show.
I like these small club concerts.
Only like 500 people there and he brought like 2/3 of the New Power Generation with him.
Anyways, he did not start befor 3 in the morning, but it was well worth it waiting for the show to start.
