Cheesy Fun 4 weeks ago

I rode in a limousine as part of my brother’s wedding party. It was a big white limo, seated fourteen people (which is lucky because there were twelve people riding in it), and there was a fair amount of room. It had some multi-coloured strobe effects, and a mirrored ceiling, so it was a little cheesy inside. But it was a lot of fun: lots to drink, good music, a decent driver, and a lot of fun people inside. Definitely worth it – especially because I only had to pay $100. If there weren’t 11 other people to split the cost with…it might have been too much. But the way things worked out, I would definitely recommend it, although I don’t know if I’ll ever do it again.

The only time I’ve been in a limo were with my friends Greg and Andy. Greg treated Andy and I out on the town in ‘06 when we were there for a Trader’s conference. What a generous friend.

We wasted half the first day 15 months ago

of vacation in the airport here in Wichita. By the time we arrived at the Ft. Myers aiport, we were tired, hungry, and a tiny bit crabby. We were taking the escalator down to baggage when we spotted the driver holding the sign with our name on it. “Wow, what a coincidence!” (duh)
Hubby arranged it beforehand and never let it slip.
It was so nice getting to relax for the long ride to the hotel.
I love this funny pic of the twins chillin’ in the back.
