I have to do this, since this year I’m waking up everyday at like 6 am :\
I loooove to sleep, but the hardest part is when I get to bed and try to fall asleep… I need to be tired enough.

It’s me vs. insomnia :D
This is not going to happen, at least not in this season of my life, when I don’t have to bet at work until 10 AM (and I only work 3 days).
My natural rhythm is to stay up late doing stuff.
If I close after I post this, maybe I can at least be in bed before midnight this time.
I have always been a night owl, so it is very difficult to consider doing this as a regular habit. However, right now it is probably costing me 50 dollars a week to not do it. I work part-time and it’s pretty flexible, but I am going in an hour later than I should. Work doesn’t care, but I’m losing money. In addition, I feel like a zombie for the first hour there and so I am not productive.
On the other hand, I work until 9 at night twice a week and that makes it hard to have enough down time before sleeping when I get home.
I simply have to discipline myself to go to bed by 10:30 or 11:00 so I can be asleep by 12:00 and get up no later than 8:00. This morning I managed to drag myself up by 8:15.
It is very tempting to sleep in on my days off, but that just makes it harder to keep a regular schedule.
I probably need to add a corollary goal of giving up drinking alcohol in the evening as I know this messes with my sleep. I’m working my way up to that one.
I’ve always had trouble sleeping – ever since my teenage days, esp. when I cannot memorise all those quotes for my literature tests! Now, I take herbal sleeping supplements to help me ease into bed, but they take too long to kick in, and then I wake up too late in the mornings. I can’t win. It is 12.27mn. I’ll try better tml.
I always sleep before midnight now… except for Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights :p
