get an ipod shuffle

I got a new blue shuffle!

and it cost less than the 1G flash drive that I bought for work a year ago. I can dump a few albums on it, and use it to transfer files. I’m really digging this.

Today I made a good choice an got myself an iPod Shuffle. Ebay is great, cuz I got a new model 20 Bugs cheaper than normal. I can’t wait for it to arrive :-)

It’s so small, I can’t believe this thing, I love it so far, but I’ve only had it a couple of hours. I’m all mac-ed out. Boyfriends who buy presents are the best.

I just went and bought a 512MB edition at Best Buy, using a gift card I had lying around. Total cash outlay: $4.99. I’m loading it up right now, and can’t wait to actually use it. I think I am going to get a full iPod down the road so I can use it as a PDA, but not until I have the iBook to back it up.

I’d heard all the raves about the size and design, and seen it online, but it really is incredibly teeny—perfect for working out. Rock on!

OK…so now Apple’s released a new 6 GB iPod mini with a longer battery life.

Now I’m wondering if I ought not just buy an iPod mini. Which then leads me to whether or not I should just go whole hog and get the 40 GB iPod.

What to do? Should I proceed with the plan to get the Shuffle? Or should I go further into the madness?

I’ve just developed the pre-iBook plan for acquiring a Shuffle. It should happen in the next couple of weeks or so, and I’m all fired up. I’m in the process of importing music into iTunes in the meantime…
