I had an idea to start and environmental club at my school so we can recycle, plant trees, etc. All I have left to do is get a sponser and have a meeting!! Sooo excited!!! 5 years ago

DeeIt seemed like a good idea

It seemed like a good idea but with a full course load in my first year and a part time job there just wasn’t enough time to get it off the ground. 6 years ago

DeeNext semester?

Well I want to start a club but I am shy to do it by myself so I have asked one of the girls in one of my classes to be a co-founder with me. I was thinking that a “taste the world” or a foodie club. Do like a pot luck meeting kind of thing. 6 years ago

ElisabethCCYay!

We did it! And lots of people seem really interested in it. The main thing I’m struggling with right now is that it’s so uncomfortable to ask people to do things. Everytime i do it, I feel guilty. And as a result, I don’t ask for help as much as I should, which means I do a lot, and my school work falls behind. I just have to develop a tougher skin. Other than that, it’s not going too horribly, haha; i’m being cynical. It’s going really well. If we keep working on it, it could become something that is well established, something we could become really proud of. 6 years ago

ElisabethCCPsyched!

I just had this huge idea for a club, based on all my volunteer, work and school experiences. And as I was typing them, more ideas kept popping into my head! I have this mountain of ideas, really cool ideas, but no time for this! I think I’ll spend the summer, developing more ideas, finding people who’d be interested in getting involved, and figuring out what we’d need to get it started (lol, like an office?). If it does take off, then I’ll have to consider living on campus (expensive, yikes!)... wowza, it’s starting to roll !! 7 years ago
