We have a spinning globe in the living room and he loves to play with it.
Maaaaaaybe I have a new idea for decorating his room—space! Planets, stars, aliens! the whole thing! That’ll show him!
I do want to awaken the little scientist in him. :-)

In his past year, he:
rode the stroller in six states (VA, MD, CT, FL, NJ, & DC)
sped through four airports (national, bradley, newark & tampa)
swam in the ocean and in outdoor pools
viewed the fish at the Tampa Aquarium
hung out at several house parties
visited extended family (gparents, aunts, cousins)
rode in the bike trailer on GW Parkway bike path
has been kissed and hugged and protected countless times by his loving big sister
This idea stems from a wonderful book (in German). The story in short: A father goes out together with his (maybe) seven-year old son and wants to show him the universe. After some preparations they reach grassland. The father points attention to the stars in the sky above – and loses sight of some cow droppings, which he hits. Result: The son is amused, the father is not.
