replace my bicycle

is my new bike. I lurked on craigslist for the last month looking for the right one, and observations there helped to crystalize the specs for my new bike in my head (while demonstrating that the bike I think I need to accomplish any kind of significant cross commuting does not so often float onto craigslist). So today headed over on the bus to the local bike shop and bought the thing. As a bonus, they had it in a sweet sagey green color. And Chris installed the lights which involved a certain inventory of hardware which I sure don’t have access to at home. hooray. now have to keep it secure.

like crazy. it’s getting kind of compulsive (and I seem to recall it was like this when I shopped for my bike the last time too). I’m just glad I didn’t spend more $ on the stolen bike. And I have to remember that I was perfectly happy with it and that there’s no call to spend twice as much now, just because I feel a bit bereft.

over the stolen bike needs to convert into new bicycle soon.
