I’m rewriting this goal, but I think it’s nice to remember what I’ve written down so far.

    - A walk in the woods.
    - Lots of rest.
    - Started reading a new book.
    - The fact that I’m not sick anymore.
    - Emails and texts from people that care.
    - Playing the piano again after a long time.
    - Coming home from a wonderful trip full of experiences, action and challenges. An amazing trip that made me grow, learn and get stronger.
    - A writing session where I wrote down all that was on my mind without evaluating or editing it.
    - Finding new, interesting, thought provoking, spiritual websites.
    - After coming back home I started appreciating the things I took for granted (again). (It seems like I have a short term memory when it comes to this)

    - Walking/jogging in the woods. Was able to jog for a little longer than last time.
    - Found some beautiful quotes I liked.
    - I listened to some Spanish podcasts for the first time after coming home from a Spanish speaking country, and I could understand a lot more than I used to.
    - Composed a new melody on the piano.
    - Music.
    - Good weather, not too warm and not too cold.
    - Watching photos from my vacation.
    - It’s a new semester and at least I started studying a little, instead of ignoring my books. Need to get into a routine though.
    - Spent a lot of time reading (other stuff).
    - Felt good a lot of the time.

    - Had a good time yesterday.
    - The autumn is back.
    - Feeling more energetic.
    - Motivational articles I’ve read.
    - Met a friend I haven’t seen in a long time.
    - Watched some interesting programs.
    - Went to the library.
    - Found some software that would do the task I wanted, after having tried many programs that claimed they would be able to do it, but didn’t.
    - Tried a new recipe that I liked.
    - Finally found some things I’ve been looking for.

    - Cleaned up this place.
    - Have been able to cut down on my soda intake.
    - Realized that it’s still not too late to do what I’ve been putting off for so long.
    - A drive in the countryside with loud music.
    - Contact with C, H and M.
    - Some new songs I found.
    - A new strategy in life.
    - Positive thinking.
    - Learned to play one of my favorite songs on the piano.
    - Made my plans for the future more realistic than they were.

    - Had more energy.
    - Chilly, but sunny mornings in the woods.
    - Had fun with C.
    - Lots of free time.
    - Cleared up some things.
    - Worried less than usual.
    - Was more active, exercised every other day.
    - Went out and had some beers (which I haven’t done in a long time).
    - Made some progress toward my jogging goal.
    - A beautiful poem I read.

    - Jogging regularly in the morning.
    - Talked to A again.
    - Hot tea and coffee in the cold mornings.
    - Avoided the news.
    - Homemade smoothies with a lemon, that looked like tropical drinks.
    - Some of the dreams I had.
    - A sweet surprise.
    - Was able to get enough sleep.
    - A documentary I watched.
    - The fact that I’m in the process of making another big dream of mine come true. Just hoping I’ll go through with it despite the cost.

    - I had a great vacation and saw some new, beautiful places.
    - I met some helpful people.
    - I got in trouble, but I also got out of it.
    - Eating all the food I missed while away.
    - The first snow.
    - An interesting book with a totally different world perspective.
    - I’m starting to figure out what I want in life. At least what I don’t want.
    - Spanish music.
    - Decluttering.
    - A new plan.

    Be grateful! 23 months ago

I have so many things I’m grateful for but at times, don’t recognize their value. I want write the little, simple things down that make my life wonderful but I don’t give enough credit to. I think by writing them down, it will etch it into my conscious instead of my subconscious.
