Work overseas in a third world country

This is my ultimate dream I would love love love to do this job

Hey I am curently a sophmore in college, and I wanted to do something in a third world country regarding medicine. I know this might sound like, I want to do this regarding medical school, but it is mostly because I want to help and do something besides work in a hospital. It would be great help if someone can just tell me how start this little expedition. I have tried looking into doctors without borders but its an option for doctors and they do not have anything for college students. Thanks in advance

I was in Afghanistan last year, and I’m in Iraq now. Does that count?

Third world countries are not all mud handcart trails with grass huts and no plumbing, although you can certainly find that if you look hard enough. I think everyone should live in a third world country for a year to both dispel the myths and develop an understanding of what everyday life is like in other places.
