Sort My House out!

cabin bed off freecycle yeah
new curtains and pole put up done
door painted need to finish off skirting boards
buy new lamp shade and a smal desk. then done
next hallway and daughters bedroom

decorating 5 years have past painted mys son’s bedroom with an undercoat and have brought paint to do his and my daughters bedrooms.
have paint for the hallway.
council has put a new door on the houses outdoor cupboard aka the shed and are threatening to paint the outside so need to get cracking

Very theraputic!

Slow progress on this one but we have got rid of loads of junk and replaced some of our ‘tat’ with much nicer items. I go through stages of blitzing the house. It needs a good clean now – if only I could drag myself off this damn computer!

It seems that my wanting to sort the house out has spred to my husband and he has spent a good few hours sorting out the spare room that is his “den”. There’s even room now for you to actually get in there!

Have really sorted out the living room – including rearranging furniture. I like being in this space much more now – still wouldn’t say that I enjoy it but it’s a definate improvement. I think the next room will be the kitchen/dining room. Probably because there isn’t that much to sort out – just really needs a good clean and tidy up!

I eventually made a start – I’ve decided to tackle a room at a time. The first room is going to be the one I spend the most time in – the living room. I’ve sorted out the huge pile of magazines and paperwork, recycled what I didn’t need and am left with a smaller pile of things I actually have to deal with. Next stage is to sort out all the junk and only have items I really like or need and then clean from top to bottom and start on the next room which is still to be decided!

This is going to be a long process. I hope it is worth it. I just want to be able to enjoy the space I live in and I certainly don’t at the moment.

I did the lounge, the dining room and the kitchen!!!!!!

I really need to tidy it up, but im finding it really hard to get motivated o(
