start flying again

I grew up in a plane. My grandfather was a Captain with United Air Lines. My father was a commercial pilot and I flew with him until I was old enough to get my own Private Pilots License. I used to take the girls up just to see how they reacted to a snap roll or a spin. Being a teenager with $30.00 to blow, and being able to rent a new $75,000 airplane on a whim, was something I just took for granted at the time. How little I knew of life back then. What I would give to have that same freedom again. How many people have seen full 360 degree double rainbows while listening to their favorite tunes over the Rocky’s. It doesn’t get better than that, especially if you can share it with that special someone.

i used to fly a lot in college, but haven’t flown in 2 years. i need a new medical, new bfr and will have to relearn a lot of stuff.

My last flight occurred in May 2004. I have a VFR single engine rating. I would like to start flying again so that I could work on my IFR.
