Be a confident public speaker

I still struggle with this.

I have a presentation on Tuesday. Nervous. I’ve got to just ignore the nerves and be ok.

I had an oral presentation tonight for class and I did ok, but not great. I’m so tired of not having this public speaking thing down. I’m getting better, but I rush , I forget what to say.

I have to say I practiced. I was organized. I had notes, I still flubbed. I did ok on the first part but I had to change part of the presentation to be flexible and it messed me up.

I dread seeing the grade.

Ran a parent meeting today and I wasn’t nervous. I was amazed! I did really well!

I spoke to a group today about healthy portion size. I did ok, but my rate of talking is so fast. I think more than I realize it. That’s so hard for me to speak slower.

and it was in Spanish ,which I’m just at the basic level. It was maybe 15 folks and I had to introduce myself and tell them why I was there.

whenever i have to give a presentation i always get really really nervous and i feel like my face is going bright red. i need to get over this fear.
