My boyfriend and I currently live in a 300 sq ft studio apartment in Adams Morgan, Washington, DC. SO, we have no room AT ALL. Well, our landlord casually mentioned that she wants to raise the rent, which means our rent will be well over $1000/month withOUT utilities included. It’s a rip-off. So we need to go. I hope we figure something out soon.
How to move to a bigger apartment
How I did it: I looked for my top apartment choices and compared the following criteria:
1) Area/location
2) Price Range
3) Square Feet
4) Accommodations
5) Neighbors
6) City
7) Stores near by
8) Crime Rates
9) Taxes
10) Aesthetics
Lessons & tips: Plan ahead, save $$$, and be sure to leave below your means!

No one else was interested in the apartment so we’ll move next week. Hooray! Now I’ll finally have enough space to put up my painting easel near the window. I’m SOOOOOOOOO happy! Good bye sardine can
The apartment was lovely…by now we’re luckily the only ones interested. Fingers crossed
Today we’ll go and have a look at a possible apartment. I hope it will be as lovely as I have imagined it…
we have found a potential apartment that we could afford, it would be huge (105 m2) centrally located and quiet :-) wahey!
We’re looking for a bigger apartment in Zürich with my husband. The rents are astronomic, though. I’d love to live in Seefeld, Zollikerberg or Höngg. I want less noice and a big balcony for my plants. And absolutely: wooden floor (I can’t understand the revolting wall to wall carpets).
