pet a sting ray

They are so soft and extremely velvety. I got to swim with them at Discovery Cove in Florida. They’re really, really cute too, and pretty affectionate: I call them “the cats of the sea”. I also pet them when I was in Minnesota in 2006: They rubbed their faces on my hands!

They are really beautiful and soft, which I didn’t expect. I also got to feed them, which was scary but pretty amazing.

yeah i wouldn’t have done it but it was in a tank and its barb was removed… poor Steve. I loved watching his show. :( so sad…

i didn’t know what to expect, but they’re sleek and soft… kinda like jello. i’d do it again! very cool…
