visit Dorie this semester

well, she made the decision to stay at school this weekend.
convincing my parents to let me visit her will be hard. they probably wont let me until like.. may.

one of the people killed at niu was julianna gehant. she graduated from my high school in 1994.

there is no way i am going to let dorie live at niu this weekend, after the shooting.
it is going to be a zoo.
i think i will be going with my father to get her after school tomorrow.
it took me hours to get ahold of her, but shes fine, and there are people way more stressed than us, so i’m just thanking God and trying to be calm.

God, this is so close to home.

Dorie came to America in 2005.
she went to my high school.
then she went back to South Korea.
then she went to school in rockford.
then she went to South Korea.
now she goes to Northern Illinois University.
she spends Christmas and Easter breaks in Mendota. i still miss her. she lives 45 minutes away.
