This goes hand in hand with attend church regularly….
I went to church today, for the first time in… 2 years? 3 years? I don’t know. I liked the church. A lot. The priest made jokes- made a joke about the Lions and how he’s praying for them and so will we (he’s a Lions fan apparently) and a joke regarding an old text that says the three wise men were actually women, saying that if they were, they would have asked for directions, arrived on time, brought gifts of diapers, cleaned the manger, and helped deliver the baby. Anyway, my point is I liked it and will likely go again.
They have classes for adults who want to be confirmed beginning in March. So… I will likely knock out two goals soon! :)

Where I used to live you got your first communion and were confirmed seperately, I moved before I could get cofirmed, and where I live now, you are confirmed into the Catholic church at the sime time you get your first communion. This needs to get done.

I’m so in between paris and nyc that’s it’s difficult to get confirmed right now – perhaps I should start small-like going to church on Sunday or reading the Bible on a regular basis.

Alright! It’s only just begun. lol. Being confirmed is pretty good. When the priest does the whole laying of the hands, it feels…holy. =)
Overall, I’m glad I did it.

I was confirmed at the Cathedral of Our Lady’s of Perpetual Help on June 4th, 2006.
I enjoyed being with my classmates, for two years, and I love being Catholic.

My faith has been on and off since middle school. I have signed up for the adult classes at my church and attended the first class. It is very different than when I was in school. The atmosphere is more relaxed and they don’t preach that you have to be a perfect Catholic to get Confirmed. I think I’ll be able to accomplish this goal!

Whole lot of work. (Not least because it required a 13-year-old me to ostensibly stop thinking about sex for an hour at a time.) Not a lot of return. (Unless you count feeling guilty whenever you think about sex.)
