For a fun quick fix that washes out easily: In the shower, wash in a LARGE box of green jello & let dry. Your hair will be nice and green until you wash with shampoo (or get caught in a rainstorm!) It’s fun, fast and easy to be done with once you’ve had your fun!

Ana Da Silva ...*sigh* life..
How I did it: I wanted green hair since I was 10 and finally I got the dye and I was so ready. We went by the salon and they did it to me in just an hour. :) I was pretty irked at first if it would look good or not having it bleached by the time the color wore out but it looked awesome bleached so i didn't mind it so much if the green wore out.I love it and I can't stop looking at it !! How I did it: i already had redish hair anyway and i got my hairdresser who at the time was a family friend, to bleach a bit just underneath the top layer of my hair blond and then added some crazy colour i think it was. it went a bright green and my hair looked like candy. haha Read how I did it…
How I did it: I had this as a dream for a long time, but never got the chance to do it. The biggest obstacle was the corporate work environment! So then, one day I decided to go and travel in Europe. I went and got the green hair dye (mine is Manic Panic brand, but there are others like LaRoche), went to a hairdresser and bleached my hair, then dye it white (so that I look presentable while arriving at the destination). Then, in Europe, my friend and i… Read how I did it…

It’s a state of mind.”
And we’re back to green, once again. :) My hair’s actually a bit lighter than in the photos, it was just a cloudy day yesterday. It’s getting sort of hard nowadays to tell when exactly my hair has reached the point of fading where it can be called green again, hehee.
I’ll be dyeing it blue again next week, before the trip!
My hair has been green/turquoise/blue for over five months now! I’ve broken my last record, wohoo. Time does go by pretty fast.
i will do this when I don’t need to look serious anymore.
I will spend a huge amount of money to a great hair-dresser that will dye for me professionally
I wanted to do it in school when I was 17 but I couldn’t because I needed to look reasonable and normal for job interviews. Then I graduated and started being a trainee in an office. Green hair would not be acceptable.

Big thanks to Anu-Liina for taking the photo, and many other great ones! ♥
I’ve had this idea for a photograph in my head for several days now but I couldn’t act on it because I couldn’t execute it by myself. But today I had the help of darling Ansku and we got some amazing photos! :)
My hair has visibly faded a lot in the past three washes. I’m pretty sure I’ll dye my hair this week.

I really feel like dyeing my hair now because I think the mix between the green hair and my orange-red roots just looks too odd. :’D
I still have one blue dye left, I’m hoping my hair will be actually blue this time. I’m not sure if I should bleach my roots first, though. Hmm.
But I should let the colour fade some more first, so that I won’t totally kill my hair, eh.

Oh how delightful foreign exchange students can be! I was just downstairs, picking up my clothes from the tumble dryer when I ran into a group of people who greeted me. One of them said more than just hi.
Foreign guy: “What is this? Is this some hair fashion at Tampere?”
Me, laughing: “Wha, no. This is just… the way I want to have it. :)”
Guy: “Really? I see! So, you’re not going to a carnivale or a party…?”
Me, laughing even more now: “No, it’s just the way it is.”
:D
I just thought that was adorable. He seemed so curious about my hair, in a polite, nice way. I think they continued talking about me as I walked away, I think I heard something like “it looked really nice” and “she just laughed!” Hehehee.
perilisk kinda never sleeps... sigh.
Finally (and again). It’s on my head. What a cool and easy goal ! :)

Wow, looks like my hair grows pretty fast, doesn’t it! :D
Elsa and I went out last night (bar hopping :p) and we agreed that she’d dye my hair next week, sometime before Thursday.
I also noticed yesterday, while I was in the fitting room at H&M (shopping with Sara), that my hair has faded much more from the left side than the right side. I thought it was funny.
Had my hair professionally dyed green the other day. It’s a dark emerald green. I love it. But there are a couple of things I wish would change:
1. I wish people would stop staring. Believe it or not, I did it because I wanted green hair, not because I wanted attention. What’s the big deal? So my hair is green. I’m not suddenly insane, and my IQ didn’t drop. You can’t judge my sanity by my hair color, and I’m still the same person I was a week ago.
2. I wish it would stop staining my fingertips and my neck. It’s getting better, but the first couple of days, it stained EVERYTHING it came in contact with.
Please, please, please…if you’ve done this, and you know of a good dye that won’t stain as much, give me the info. I beg you.

TJLM asks,
“Do you think that mixing blue and yellow or blonde pigments from hair dye, when you add it to the devolper and apply it, will it end up with green hair.”
