I want to brighten somebodys day with a smile even when things go wrong smile!

My father passed away a couple of weeks ago and one of the things he always told his kids to do was smile. People remember him the most for his smile. His last wishes included for us to smile so that is what I am going to do. We are only here on this earth for a short amount of time so why not smile as long as I am here. :-)

I made three unknown people smile this morning on the way to work in the Path train. :-)

How? I just smiled at them. Nothing like getting smile back for no particular reson. It’s hard for me to make eye contact at first. I make an effort and it started as pretend. Sometimes it works and make my inside smile as well. But not everyone respond in smile. Actualy most people simply ignored me or many have a long face. Hmmm…
