I don’t want to find 41 more bugs. Two is enough. It’s not like I’ve ever focussed on it anyway. ;-)

Next week I’ll be going to see the implosion of the Key Bank tower in Salt Lake City, UT. As a good netizen, I went to the 43places map of Salt Lake City and tried to add the new neighborhood that demolishing the tower will create.
At that point, I noticed a few glaring discrepancies between the Google map that 43places displays, and the real Google Maps of the same location
Double-checking with Yahoo maps revealed that 43places uses some different (most likely obsolete) version of the Google maps. The copyright notice that 43places displays is from Tele Atlas, while the Google map shows Navteq data.

I found all sorts of bugs in 43things. The most famous is the rigging of main page and of the goal boxes at the bottom of every page.
Why you never see yourself on the 43things main page

When viewing my progress on a thing which I’m doing as a team (such as my progress on lucid dream with Firefox 2.0.0.1 (Gecko/20061204), there’s a minor CSS bug in the borders of the box with the list of team mates with whom I’m doing the thing.
See the picture for a more comprehensible description of the bug.
There is bug on adding the blog to 43 Things,I input right username password, but it says,
“There was an error logging in to your blog. Here’s the error message that your blog returned: The username or password was incorrect: Moved Permanently”
I don’t know the reason.

...and I’m glad. Looks like I got 20+.
Please combine the two pages, make only one “Beijing” on this website, thank you.
- Visit http://www.43things.com/things/people/212?view=done
- Click on the “next page ->” link
- Notice that you are no longer seeing “People who’ve done this”, but have reverted to “People doing this” instead.
- Manually change the brower address from:
http://www.43things.com/things/people/212?start_at=51
to
http://www.43things.com/things/people/212?start_at=51&view=done - Now it works :)
- Hey, look, Boris Mann thought buying a Powerbook was worth doing. And Boris Mann is a cool guy, so it must be true. ;)

I tried the “upload a photo of [this goal]” gizmo and received the “oops” page when I clicked the “yes, use this picture” button. Going back and trying again didn’t help, neither did the cancel button. Then after going back to my list of things I see the message “your image has been saved.”
