become a music producer

i need to become a producer…ned to make hiphop my wife.. lead me through this…i am hip hop

my whole life is music.
basically, my world would be nothing without it.
i’d just love to sit in a recording studio and work with artists on their music.

Iv been a dj since i was 19 im now 27 iv djed a few big sets over the years but now all i want to do is make beats. Iv been using fruity loops 7 on and off for a few years now and im making some bangging stuff. old skool garage is what i started djing then grime came out which i love, i slso mix dnb but the beats im making r more grime dub step,with dark basslines.i have a my space page with some of my older stuff where my new tunes will b added soon feel free 2 check out my page.dj sparkzee@ my space.

I have grown up not knowing what it is i really wanted to settle for,thought about every career that did suit me,but some how they lacked something,I didnt fel the zeal to chase after them,untill finally something i’d try to run away from,even with my friends telling me it was my enlightened path and still was adamant I realised being a music producer was what i was born to do.im getting outa ma way to do this cos this finally makes sense to me and im so passionate about it more than anything i ever gave ma all,even love.

i am an african CAMEROON very good in hip hop old school rapand i want to be a rap star. any help…........ Producers????

It kills me to love music this much but still can’t make it, at my age I should be making hits….

i always wanted to be a rapper or a producer..i always love music i cant live witout it. but it wat i do on the street..but this me i love music peace out

I have been building my own home studio of sorts for the past few months. It started with a copy of Reason, on special offer with a 25-key controller keyboard.
I also now have Cubase and SONAR, and some outboard gear too. I can record proper like.

I still use Reason more than any other software on my computer. The fact that it emulates real devices has taught me a lot about the way effects, compressors, EQs, etc, work.

If you want to teach music tech to yourself, start on Reason.
