How to keep an art journal
How I did it: I got a big journal with writing space as well as empty paper for adding art too. I write in it every day and add some kind of art like photos, drawings, or paintings. I also add stickers and other decorations to pages to keep them artistic. I use it to document memories, quotes, and my goals. I've even added lists of affirmations, the things that make me happy, and facts about myself. It's an inspiring and insightful way to journal and I'm glad I found out about it.
Lessons & tips: Don't try to be perfect. Keep it positive and personal.
Resources: my camera, my art therapy kit, color pencils, paints, chalk, crayons and stickers. Tape and glue came in handy too.

I ran out of excuses so I did a page dedicated to all the excuses I use for not working on this goal. There is no excuse. Just take out all the art supplies and get to it. It doesnt matter what comes out on the page.

i really want to do this, i guess i better go get a book!
definitely get a moleskine journal – the pages are thick, so they can take take watercolor, lots of acrylic paint, etc.. and the journal has a strap, so it can contain a thick journal with lots of stuff in it. I love my moleskine.
