thinks Wednesday will be great for working on 43T!
Ok, my wonderful husband came through for me today. He put holes in the can I’m going to use, so now all I have to do is pick a spot in the yard where it’ll sit and start filling it with the proper refuse. I am excited and hope to use this on my first herb garden! :) I even started saving my compostable scraps in a large empty coffee can.

So, being proactive, I tried doing this myself. All I need are some holes drilled into a relatively thin metal garbage can. I have VERY little experience with tools, but I figured I could handle it. I looked all over for the drill, asked my husband where it was, and he had no clue and he was in the middle of playing a game. He said it might be better to hammer some wholes into it with a nail. I tried that, and after lots of hitting, and lots of noise I only made a small dent. :( This should be a quick goal to cross off my list, but it has been a long process. I won’t give up, though.

We got the garbage can- now we just need to drill holes in it. I already have stuff to put in it, too.

now I just need to shop for a bin, and for a collection pail for the house. Both with tight-fitting lids, and probably not too large. I hope to start this weekend! This will also reduce the amount of garbage we have to put out.

First, I need to buy a metal garbage can with a tight lid. Also, I need to find my simple directions that I found somewhere…
