saruhmazing summmer :)
I’m taking a Japanese class in school for 4 years… so far one year is done, and after only one year, there’s still a lot to learn.
I know hiragana, katakana, and probably about 85 kanji, and I can speak many common phrases.
I’ll consider this goal completed when I can have an in-depth conversation with a native japanese speaker, and not sound like a foreigner.
meere is new ^^ Hello guys :D
I have learnt basic hirigana, katakana and a few kanji. I have friends that promise to teach me over my summer holidays ^^
I hope to accomplish it soon :D
I’ve been learning it all my life and am not even close – but why should I stop, when it’s impacted me so much? My time there was the most wonderful two weeks, completely incomparable.
I started high school this year!! At school we’re learning japanese. In the past I have learnt indonesion and italian but neither have made me as happy as I am when I’m learning japanese. To improve my japanese I watch japanese Sailor Moon episodes with english subtitles. Through japanese Sailor Moon the words I’ve learnt are:
baka- idiot
takishi do- tuxedo
kamen- mask
and about using ‘chan’ on the end of the name of a close friend. I have learnt other words in my japanese lessons and am striving to memorise all of the hiragana.
Wish me luck!!
im just starting out learning nihongo. ive been working on rosetta stone, pimsleur, some transparant software and several online courses. this summer im eather going away to an immersion camp for 2 weeks or away to japan for 4 weeks. there are no highschool courses around here. i suck at learning languages so i have to study 3-4 hours a day. i have no life but at least im bettering myself. i was thinking of doing that telephone course. NOW! ONWARD TO FAILURE! yay…...
i would love to move to Japan someday, so i want to start learning japanese soon. next school year ill be able to take classes at my school, so w00t! also, i would love to be able to read original untranslated manga, and watch anime without subtitles :)
when i was in the second grade, i started learning japanese. i don’t know why i stopped. i’ve been learning languages my whole life. i can speak korean, tagalog (the language of the philippines) and english. i’ve been learning french for six years and chinese for two years. i want to add japanese to my list. i love their language and culture and since i know korean and i’m learning chinese, i’m thinking it’d be easier for me to learn it.
